Chapel, the indie/synth rock duo managed by Tyler Carter (Issues), are currently rising up the ladder right now with their catchy hits and eccentric performances. The two piece consists of vocalist and guitarist Carter Hardin and drummer Kortney Grinwis who are quickly gaining popularity in both America and internationally.
The band are probably most well known for their tours with their pop-rock friends ‘Waterparks’ across the US and England and are in the ring to release their new EP ‘Sunday Brunch’ on November 17th 2017 which consists of 7 songs including their theee current singles.
Their first three tracks they have released bring high energy with vague similatities to bands such as ‘Twenty One Pilots’ in their music. With ‘We Got Soul’ bringing a synth vibe with mixes of catchy choruses and and some great drumming. ‘Caught Up’ brings a slower, less synth infused track but still brings a distinct style to Chapel and their electronic sides to their music. Finally, ‘Fools Gold’ is also one of the bands more emotive tracks with an impressive build up through the choruses and the bridge of the track.
On the verge of releasing their EP ‘Sunday Brunch’ and touring across the UK and America wih Waterparks, Chapel are ready to tear up the music scene soon. Check them out at:
